The Specialist of Hainanese Chicken Rice in Large Scale Level (Had dinner on September 10, 2025) Hainanese Chicken Rice seller in Malaysia tend to be SME. However, it doesn't mean large scale chain-restaurant version not exist. It does, with The Chicken Rice Shop. The Chicken Rice Shop has a lots of branch at Malaysia. It can be found at many major malls in Malaysia. Actually It had been expanding to Indonesia, but decided visit the branch at the hometown for a reason to feel the original taste. The Chicken Rice Shop not just offered Chicken Rice, but also a few Malaysian cuisine, specifically Peranakan Malaysian cuisine. Most of the menu tend to have portion size aimed toward large group, though portion size for personal do exist. The Chicken Rice Shop has really soft flavor on the menu. Not kind of fan of very salty. It might be not suitable for everyone, but anyone whose favor soft flavor would like it. Still, none of the menu tasted underseasoned. The flavor characteristic was suitable enough to be comfort food whether want to have dining at mall. The portion of the menu was quite large. Even the small size portion chicken was enough for 3-4 people. Unusually, the cutlery were stored in a chicken-shaped container made by perhaps rattan woven (or maybe rattan look like plastic woven).

Clean place, very good portion, tasty as well. Real value for money. The only downside is the online order through QR was a bit tricky. I've put all the details but there was an error and my order ended up differently. However Thura was very helpful and he helped to correct all the orders. So happy with the service!,,
